Funding Requests (By Invitation Only)

We will provide program funding to Title I or Title I eligible schools in Arizona that qualify as exempt from tax under section 501(c)3 of the IRS Code. This funding available to support school classroom projects, teachers, books fairs, supplies and equipment, and special programs. We will support family services including food, clothing, hygiene and medical needs. Applicants must complete the attached application and email it to the foundation. Applications will be reviewed by a committee and awarded based on merit and criteria. Applications may be submitted any time and will be reviewed quarterly.

The Pappas Kids Schoolhouse Foundation does not provide funding to any of the following:

  • Schools that have been in existence for less than one year.
  • Scholarships or other direct support to individuals or families.
  • Sponsorship or prizes for events such as conferences, festivals, dinners, art exhibits, fundraisers (e.g. dinners, walks/runs/relays, golf tournaments and auctions) put on or hosted by the schools.
  • Capital budget expenses or employee positions

Reporting Requirements

Organizations receiving funds for the Pappas Kids Schoolhouse Foundation are required to provide an impact report detailing the progress that has been made toward the objectives outlined in the approved proposal. Organizations will be required to report the number of students served, student education gains, and detailed budget information. Organizations that do not comply with reporting requirements will not be eligible for future funding.
